The BVRLA has strengthened its leadership team by promoting Thomas McLennan to the newly created role of Director of Policy and Public Affairs.
Tom joined the BVRLA over four years ago, first as a Senior Policy Advisor, then later became Head of Policy and Public Affairs. Tom oversees all policy initiatives and leads the BVRLA’s engagement with government officials, regulators, and industry partners.
Tom will continue to work alongside the BVRLA’s Director of Corporate Affairs, Toby Poston. The association’s Chief Executive Gerry Keaney said, “Tom’s promotion strengthens our senior management team, adding valuable leadership as we navigate an evolving business landscape, support our members, and work closely with the Government on its ambitious decarbonisation targets and green agenda.”
Tom leads the Policy and Public Affairs team of Rachael Hewish, Catherine Bowen and Zohra Chagani.
