Financial Ombudsman Service shares insights on complaints

Representatives from the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) met with the BVRLA last week to discuss and compare complaint trends identified by both organisations.

Emerging trends on complaints relating to electric vehicles and those relating to forbearance and affordability were raised and there was a consensus from both parties that 2021 could see more complaints arising on both issues.  

The BVRLA will next meet with the Financial Ombudsman Service once its annual report is published later in the year for discussions on the report data.
