The DVLA has published its revised opening hours for the two-week period spanning Christmas and the New Year, with reduced hours and some closures around the bank holidays.
Revised hours apply to all DVLA contact centres, including the Check Driving Licence telephone service – although online services will remain available throughout. Changes to typical operating hours include a shorter day on Christmas Eve (08:00 – 12:00) and closures from 25 – 28 December inclusive, plus 1 – 3 January. Online services will be accessible as normal via the Driving & Transport pages.
The BVRLA will also be operating to alternative timings over this period. The office will officially close at the end of the working day on Thursday 23 December, reopening on Tuesday 4 January at 08:30.
