BVRLA contacts new metro Mayors

Seven of the country’s eight metro mayors were elected or re-elected earlier this month.

An increasing number of local authorities are looking at enabling transport decarbonisation through measures such as local charging infrastructure, shared mobility, and Clean Air Zones.

The BVRLA has written to the mayors in Liverpool City Region, Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire, Sheffield City Region, West Midlands, Cambridgeshire & Peterborough, Tees Valley and West of England asking them to meet with the association’s Chief Executive Gerry Keaney to discuss their plans and explore how the BVRLA and its members can help them to decarbonise transport in their region.

If your business operates in one of these regions and you have a message for any of the new mayors, please get in touch with the BVRLA's Public Affairs Manager Rachael Hewish
