Business minister to speak at BVRLA’s next big event

Nadhim Zahawi MP, Minister for Business and Industry at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy will introduce the afternoon session at the BVRLA’s digital Fleets in Charge event taking place on 6 October.

The afternoon will focus on business recovery, EU Exit and regulation and compliance, whilst the morning will focus on road transport decarbonisation and will include an address from Transport Secretary of State Grant Shapps MP. 

Members will have the opportunity to hear directly from the senior Government ministers and other industry leaders through speeches, panel discussions, interactive and member-led break-out sessions and video case studies and presentations. 

In the Business Recovery session, a series of expert business advisers will provide delegates with practical tips and advice covering core business issues at the forefront of business recovery, including Finance, HR and Marketing. 

The BVRLA will launch its updated Road to Zero Report Card, providing a status update on fleet decarbonisation and outlining the task ahead. It will also be unveiling a new Plug-in Pledge, which will demonstrate the huge contribution that the fleet sector will make between now and 2025.  

The event will also feature a series of concurrently run sessions giving delegates the opportunity to pick one to attend or can drop in and out of a couple of sessions during the allotted time.
