Bristol Clean Air Zone now live

Members are reminded that the Bristol Clean Air Zone is now live (from Monday 28 November) with a small CAZ D.

No vehicles are banned from entering Bristol’s Clean Air Zone, but older and more polluting vehicles have to pay a daily charge.

  • Charges do not apply to Euro 4, 5 and 6 petrol vehicles (roughly 2006 onwards).
  • Charges do not apply to Euro 6 diesel vehicles (roughly end of 2015 onwards).

Charges apply 24 hours a day (midnight to midnight), seven days a week, 365 days a year. There is only one charge for entering the zone in each 24-hour period.

Use the government’s Clean Air Zone Checker to check if a vehicle will be charged to drive in Bristol’s Clean Air Zone.
