The UK’s charging network is expanding rapidly, with more charge points being installed every month. The BVRLA’s Bon VoyCharge destination charging campaign is focused on ensuring that the places where people spend extended periods - such as tourist attractions - can meet the needs of EV drivers.
This week the campaign team, joined by partner Zapmap, visited National Trust Stourhead in Wiltshire, which is already well equipped with 16 charging bays and plans to increase capacity to 32. Local MP Dr Andrew Murrison attended the visit to better understand where opportunities for destination charging will exist across the region. Dr Murrison also underpinned his support for the campaign by signing the Bon VoyCharge campaign car.
