The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) has issued an update on Chargepoint Grants for homes and businesses.
This is the first of a series of updates from OZEV as it transitions from current to future schemes; it details relevant developments members and their customers should be aware of.
The reforms to the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) and Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) will be provided via a new digital service and an update to the current WCS platform, both of which are under development now.
OZEV has issued a reminder that all EVHS installations under the current manual processing scheme need to be completed by 31 March 2022, and all claims must be submitted to the DVLA by 30 April 2022. The EVHS will close to re-submissions on 31 March 2023. After this date, the DVLA will not accept any new re-submissions.
