Question the experts at BVRLA event

The BVRLA’s new ‘Fleets in Charge’ event, which is free to attend and open to anybody, will take place online next week, Tuesday 6 October, 10.00am to 3.00pm.

High profile speakers, panel discussions and informative breakout sessions form the agenda for this interactive event and attendees will receive an address from Transport Secretary of State, Grant Shapps MP.

The morning will highlight the vital role the rental, leasing and fleet industry plays in delivering the Government’s zero emission road transport ambitions and the afternoon business recovery session will focus on finance, HR and marketing tips from expert business advisers and include a speech from Nadhim Zahawi MP, Minister for Business and Industry.

Later on, delegates will be able to attend one of three very topical breakout sessions.

The first session will discuss Motor Finance Opportunities for 2021, whether that be new rules from the FCA or what the world could look like once EU Exit is completed.

The second session features experts from the BEIS automotive team, BVRLA, Cabinet Office, CBI and SMMT, explaining what the fleet sector will need to be aware of once EU Exit is completed and what companies can be doing now to prepare.

The third session will explore innovative projects across the country designed to help businesses upgrade their fleets to greener vehicles. Experts from Transport for Greater Manchester, Energy Savings Trust and Highways England will run delegates through some of the innovative national and local schemes that are helping to deliver greener commercial vehicles.
