The BVRLA has worked with the British Oil Security Syndicate (BOSS) and Forecourt Eye on confirmation of a process for members when their customers drive away without paying for fuel.
If members receive a letter from a solicitor called a QDR, Boss Fuels or Forecourt Eye about unpaid fuel, members need to send an extract of the lease or hire agreement where it states the customer is liable for all fees or penalties while they have the vehicle, along with the customer’s name or business name and address and BOSS/Forecourt Eye will contact them instead.
