Lorry, van, bus and coach drivers can now pay roadside fines received from the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency using a secure online service launched last month.
The service is available 24-hours a day and can be accessed from anywhere in the world. It works on mobile phones, tablets and computers.
Fines from DVSA that can be paid via this service include:
- fixed penalties for vehicle defects and other offences such as breaking the rules around drivers' hours;
- immobilisation fees;
- court deposits.
The driver can either pay their own fine or ask for it to be sent to their company for it to be paid.
