Delegates from across the BVRLA membership gathered at Manheim Shepshed recently for complete course in car Fair Wear & Tear Standards.
Focusing on the association’s standard for cars, the course included physical vehicle demonstrations and walkarounds. The in-person, instructor-led content gave delegates first-hand experience of what to look out for when assessing the condition of a vehicle at the end of a lease or rental.
The BVRLA’s Fair Wear & Tear Standard is seen across the industry as setting the bar for vehicle condition. It gives a reliable, consistent reference point when determining end-of-contract charges.
Delegates included representatives from Alphabet Ltd, BMW Financial Services Ltd, Santander Consumer Contract Hire, and Bridle Vehicle Leasing.
