This Friday (6 December) the BVRLA will be sending a joint letter to political party leaders encouraging them to support the continuation of the Plug-In Grant for vans and cars.
Over fifteen organisations have already signed the joint letter including the AA, Royal Mail and WWF, who all believe that the government needs to continue the Plug-in Grant if it is serious about stimulating the uptake of electric vehicles.
All the main political parties have included electric vehicle proposals within their election manifestos; however, none have referenced the vital role the Plug-In Grant plays for vehicle uptake.
