Government takes steps to drive uptake of alternative low-carbon fuels

The Department for Transport (DfT) has published guidance on new legislation changes designed to encourage use of environmentally-friendly fuels in buses and lorries.

The legislation, which takes effect on 1 October 2017, will allow additional weight amounts for certain buses and HGVs.
