BVRLA members are reminded that the ACT counter-terrorism awareness training package is available for free via the BVRLA’s e-Learning Platform.
The training will support members’ security processes and help firms which have signed up to the Rental Vehicle Security Scheme to demonstrate that they are embedding a proactive culture of security vigilance.
The training covers how to spot the signs of suspicious behaviour and what to do if an attack should take place.
Being aware that the terrorism threat to the UK is real and having the appropriate measures in place to detect and deter attacks, remain vigilant and be able to respond appropriately to suspicious items, behaviours and threats, could prove to be the difference between life and death.
This course will allow learners to explore real scenarios and gain confidence in dealing with such events.
