Face-to-face conferences postponed for 2020

Three key annual events in the BVRLA calendar have been postponed due to the Covid pandemic, whilst smaller digital member engagement events continue to attract record numbers.

The association’s popular Parliamentary Reception, Leasing Broker Conference and Industry Outlook Conference will not take place this year, however, members are encouraged to access the expanding range of digital engagement opportunities to help keep informed of all the latest industry developments and insights.

BVRLA Events Manager, Fran Hampson explains how the association’s events programme has been adapted in response to Covid:

“We have been quick to respond to the outbreak of coronavirus and are keen to ensure that members continue to have access to interesting, insightful and engaging events, hosted online.

“Our Forums and webinars have attracted more people than ever before and many members have commented that the events have been really worthwhile, despite missing out on the social aspect of being able to catch up with industry colleagues face-to-face.

“Plans for the 2021 events schedule are underway and we are considering what approach will be best moving into the medium-term of the Covid crisis. In the meantime, I would encourage members to make use of many online opportunities to join our events for the remainder of this year.”

A list of scheduled events can be found on the BVRLA website.
