The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has launched a new and improved digital service for operator licence applicants and licence holders.

Since the launch, the new service has seen a 40% increase in changes to licences online. The system has been accessed over 600,000 times, processing over 3,600 licence applications, 40,000 licence changes and 200,000 vehicle changes.

The additional services which can be accessed include:
• add more vehicles to your licence
• apply to increase your vehicle limit

The new online services have also helped to reduce licence processing times. New applications are now being processed in under 9 weeks
The DVSA has been monitoring satisfaction levels, which are currently averaging 81%. This is up from 49% when it first launched in November.
