Coventry Future Mobility and Air Quality Roundtable

Members are invited to join the BVRLA’s Coventry roundtable event and share views with Coventry City Council, who are actively considering air quality and future mobility measures within the city.

This event will provide the opportunity to speak directly to council representatives, hear more about the plans they are considering and offer feedback. The event will be at Coventry Council House on Wednesday 18 September, between 9am and 12 noon.

The conversation at Coventry will also cover innovative urban mobility solutions such as mobility credits and last mile deliveries, which seek to address the problems of poor air quality and congestion, as well as the council’s recent investment in electric vehicle charging points and car clubs.

The objective of round tables is to ensure that the voice of the fleet sector is heard when considering the requirements, location and enforcement measures of any CAZ, and to develop a set of principles that will ensure any incoming clean air measures are cost-effective, business friendly, and successful in improving air quality across cities.

The BVRLA has hosted a series of events with various city authorities that are considering the implementation of a Clean Air Zone (CAZ) or Low Emission Zone (LEZ). With five successful events hosted in Leeds, Nottingham, Derby, Birmingham and Glasgow last year.

Spaces are limited for this event. If you would like to attend, please email [email protected].
