BVRLA Spending Round submission

On Wednesday 4th September 2019 Chancellor Sajid Javid makes a Spending Round statement to Parliament setting out departmental budgets for 2020-21.

The BVRLA has written to the Chancellor urging him use this Spending Round statement to support fleets, asking him to:

  • Provide continued support for the Plug-in Car Grant to 2025
  • Fund further charging infrastructure support for businesses and fleets
  • Extend the Future Mobility Zone funding for another year to support initiatives such as further mobility credit scheme pilots
  • Increase funding for a ‘Clean Freight Fund’ to support HGVs and van upgrades within the Clean Air Zones
