The association recently took part in a roundtable event hosted by the Office for Low Emission Vehicles who are looking to better understand the challenges and possible policy incentives that could help stimulate the electric car market.
Participants identified some of these challenges, such as consumer information and myth-busting over battery life, vehicle supply into the second-hand market and the need for longer visibility of the company car tax rates/plug in car grant. OLEV will continue to engage in future months and welcomes insight from stakeholders.
