What is happening with accident management?

Vehicle off-road times and total losses represent a critical cost to BVRLA members and their fleet customers. At the BVRLA’s Vehicle and Fleet Management (VFM) Forum next month, Paul Johnson, Business Development Manager at the AA will be talking about the latest accident management trends to help delegates manage their fleets effectively.

The 15 February Forum will be hosted at DAF Trucks in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire. As well as the session with Paul, the agenda will include sessions and insights spanning lessons learnt from HGVs; particulates, tyre wear and connected vehicles from Kwik Fit; and parts pricing, electrical components and ‘on the drive repair’ with i247 and Fleet Assist.

Having replaced the Technical and Operational Management Forum last year, the Vehicle and Fleet Management Forum helped dozens of delegates address the challenges of 2023 and network with their peers from across the rental and leasing industry. The 2024 programme is supported by Fleet Assist and i247and is built around three key themes:

  1. Vehicle servicing and managing mixed fleets
  2. Telematics and handling data
  3. Vehicle repairs and reducing downtime.
