Covid-19 communications help to keep members updated

As the Government continues to announce new initiatives, guidance and advice about the coronavirus, it is crucial for members to be kept aware of any developments that will help to protect them and their businesses.

Yesterday, during the first 8-hours of the Government’s online system being made live, over 144,000 businesses across the UK submitted applications for the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme.

The BVRLA is encouraging members to keep an eye on the association’s dedicated Covid-19 communications to ensure that they don’t miss out on any crucial information or available financial support.

Since mid-March, the association has emailed twenty-two Covid-19 Bulletins, almost one every day, highlighting the most important information issued by Government during the previous 24 hours.

During that same period, there have also been over 6,500 visits to the associations Covid-19 Busines Advice page on the BVRLA website, making it by far the most popular content on the BVRLA website.

The association continues to work hard to support members during this extremely challenging time and through webinars, social media, email and digital channels, the BVRLA will continue to keep members updated on the latest developments that will help to protect people and businesses.
