On 16th July the BVRLA will host a Summer Reception for parliamentarians to discuss the impact of the rental and leasing sector on the economy and its role in improving air quality.

The association will be releasing its latest report by respected research group, Oxford Economics, which will show the vital contribution the fleet sector makes to UK economy.

The reception will also be used to launch the BVRLA’s plug-in vehicle pledge, an ambitious promise to increase the take up of plug-in vehicles amongst members over the next seven years, to support the Government’s aims to improve air quality. This will be dependent upon the Government delivering a supportive tax and electric vehicle infrastructure environment.

So far over 40 MPs and Peers have confirmed they will be attending. The BVRLA is inviting members to join the reception and reaffirm how important the sector is for the UK.

The event will take place in Members’ Dining Room in the House of Commons from 16:00 to 18:00 on Monday 16th July. If you would like to attend please RSVP to [email protected].
