By the end of this course you will be able to:
- Explain why used values and residual values (RVs) are important
- Explain how used vehicles are valued today, and the influencing factors
- Explain how forecast residual values are calculated, and the uncertainties around them
- Describe the relationships and differences between used values and residual values' impact them
- Have a better understanding of some of the unique challenges around the valuing of Battery Electric and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (BEVs and PHEVs).
Dean Bowkett has 34 years of automotive industry experience, including responsibility for 31 different financial services businesses across 25 countries in 4 continents. He launched the world’s first OEM 'online used car sales portal' and completed a number of pan-European remarketing projects for multiple OEMs. He has run his own consultancy business for the past 10 years.
