Webinar shares all you need to know about VE103s

If you missed the BVRLA’s recent webinar about vehicle on hire VE103 certificates, there’s chance to listen again on the association’s YouTube channel.

The half-hour long webinar covers driving abroad, completing the VE103 certificate and DVLA compliance regarding the certificates.

The VE103 certificate must be carried in all rented or leased vehicles when travelling abroad, if the vehicle registration document is not available. It is the only legal alternative to the vehicle registration document – letters of authority and photocopies of the V5C (log-book) are not valid substitutes.

Rented or leased vehicles include those on short- or long-term hire; daily rental, contract hire, finance lease, contract purchase and employee car ownership schemes.

The VE103 webinar video is available on the BVRLA YouTube channel.

The slides from the webinar can be viewed on the BVRLA website.

The next BVRLA webinar is What’s New - BVRLA Fair Wear &Tear Standard for Cars and will be held on Wednesday 22 May at 2pm. Register for webinar.
