The Department for Transport has launched two consultations on the regulation of CO2 emissions from new cars, vans and HGVs after the EU transition period ends on 31 December 2020.
The association will be submitting a response and is inviting members to submit thoughts or suggestions to BVRLA Senior Policy Advisor Thomas McLennan.
The consultations, which opened on 10 July and will end on 21 August, can be found on the Consultations page of the BVRLA website.
The proposals in both consultations would be take effect on 1 January 2021.
