Urban data to be explored at Future Mobility Congress

The urban data session at the BVRLA’s Future Mobility Congress on 4 July in Birmingham will demonstrate innovative examples of how businesses are using different types of data to problem solve in the urban environment.

Speaking at the event will be Ben Boutcher-West of AppyParking who heads up mobility at the firm. Ben will talk about how their solution is digitising the kerbside and empowering the public sector by unlocking new revenue. In addition to guiding drivers to parking spaces, AppyParking also shows disabled bays, electric car charge points, motorbike bays and the nearest petrol stations.

Bola Adegbulu, is CEO of Predina, an AI analytics platform that predicts and mitigates accident risk in autonomous vehicles, using a range of contextual data. Bola will talk about how vehicle data can be used more effectively to help mitigate road traffic accidents and explore how this data can be used to help overcome some of the future mobility challenges such as congestion and air quality.

Justin Whitson, Chief Executive of Fleetondemand will talk about Mobilleo, a first of its kind business mobility-as-a-service platform which was launched in 2017. Justin will talk about how they are using data to help people plan their journeys more effectively through their smart mobility engine. This consolidates all sorts of business travel into one single solution allowing people to book and pay for their entire journey in just a few seconds.
