The introduction of the Ultra-Low Emission Zone in London is less than nine weeks away. From 8 April 2019 most vehicles, including cars and vans will need to meet emission standards or pay a daily charge to travel within the zone.
Those fleet operators who have vehicles entering London should now be considering which of their vehicles will meet the new standards and how they will manage their fleet to avoid unnecessary costs.
Rental and lease vehicles can provide customers with a cleaner alternative to someone who owns an older non-compliant vehicle and needs to drive within the ULEZ. This provides a marketing opportunity to members.
