Inspiring agenda of speakers at Leasing Broker Conference

Leasing Broker members are invited to attend the BVRLA’s first dedicated Leasing Broker Conference on Tuesday 21 May in London to hear from a packed agenda of speakers with a focus on both compliance and business development.

The day will begin with a keynote session from economics and innovation expert James Woudhuysen, a visiting professor from London South Bank University who will explore the issue about what’s happening in the world economy and worldwide car manufacturing.

Among the speakers lined up for the day are Jo Davis, Partner at Lock Lord LLP who will talk about the key issues and takeaways from the Motor Finance Review. Peter Ewing from the Financial Conduct Authority will talk about the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR) and how to meet the challenges under the new regime.

Sarah Conway and Mark Hollands from the Financial Ombudsman Service will share insight and discuss the service’s work. They’ll also share some illustrative case studies of the complaints the service deals with.

Adam Lawrenson, Executive Creative Director at Albion will talk about customer retention and scaling your business and David Watts, Senior Consultant at Arval will cover navigating change in an unpredictable fleet market.
