Members who are tendering for Government contracts for the provision of vehicle rental or leasing will be required to have a Carbon Reduction Plan in place if the value exceeds £5 million per annum.
The new requirements, which apply to procurements advertised on or after 30 September 2021, must meet the required standard as set out by the Carbon Reduction Plan Guidance.
The BVRLA is working with experts to support members to prepare Carbon Reduction Plans and has published a guidance page on the BVRLA website.
