Glasgow consults on second phase of Low Emission Zone

Glasgow is consulting on proposals to extend its Low Emission Zone to apply to all vehicles driving into the city centre zone, including private cars.

The first phase of the LEZ was introduced in 2018 and only applied to local service buses. The new proposals, if approved, will take effect from 31 December 2022.

Glasgow City Council is currently seeking views via the online consultation which is open until 29 March 2020.
