FCA Consultation: Ongoing support for consumers affected by coronavirus: mortgages and consumer credit

The association has responded to the latest consultation from the FCA seeking motor finance industry feedback to inform their thinking on their next set of guidance on customer forbearance.

They were specifically looking for guidance on:

  • What support should people get after two payment deferrals
  • What support will be needed post 31 October for those facing redundancy etc.
  • The FCA was particularly keen to get BVRLA member feedback on the PCH market.
