Exploring the EV ecosystem at Conference

With just over five weeks to go until the BVRLA’s 2022 Fleets in Charge Conference, the association would like to highlight two of the interactive breakout sessions offering different perspectives from across the electric vehicle ecosystem.  

Greener Futures: Carbon accounting and the ESG agenda  

Chaired by the BVRLA’s Policy Advisor Eleanor Bruce, business experts will discuss the ways companies are gearing up for new carbon and ESG reporting requirements and setting their own targets. 

Confirmed speakers include:

Second life and beyond: Exploring the world of used BEVs  

Chaired by the BVRLA’s Head of Policy and Public Affairs Thomas McLennan, this group discussion will look at all aspects of used BEVs, from maintenance to sales and beyond. 

The panel features: 

  • Patrick Cresswell, Managing Director at Future Motion 
  • Matt Cleevely, Managing Director at Cleevely Electric Vehicles 
  • Lauren Pamma, Director at the Green Finance Institute 
  • Meryem Brassington, Senior Manager Motor Sustainability Propositions at Lex Autolease 
  • Andy Eastlake, CEO at Zemo Partnership.

The Fleets in Charge Conference gives delegates the chance to network with industry peers over lunch and a drinks reception (both included in the ticket price), watch presentations from industry heavyweights on the issues surrounding electric vehicles, and quiz the experts in the break-out sessions.

The conference will take place at 1 Birdcage Walk in Westminster, London from 10am to 3.30pm (followed by drinks reception until 5pm) on Thursday 7 July 2022.
