BVRLA hosts post-Budget webinar to assess what it means for fleets

The BVRLA will be running a webinar the day after the Budget to review the Chancellor’s announcement, collating expert views and analysis to help members and their fleet customers to determine what the impact will be on their business.

The Chancellor, Philip Hammond, will make his annual Budget announcement on the 29th October. This year’s Budget comes at a crucial point for the rental and leasing sectors as swift and effective action is required to tackle the disruption of both WLTP changes and increases in the Company Car Tax (CCT).

The BVRLA has been campaigning for a realignment of the tax system to ensure the sustainability of the company car market. These efforts culminated earlier this month in a submission the association put forward for consideration ahead of the Budget. It outlined five recommendations the Chancellor could include in his announcement which would support fleet operators.

The webinar will take place from 11.00 until 12.00 on the 30th October and will include presentations from Lex Autolease and Deloitte Car and Mobility Consulting as well as BVRLA policy experts.
