The main theme of this year’s BVRLA Industry Conference will be Air Quality, Energy and Emissions, and Transport Minister Andrew Jones will share the government's approach to air quality.

Also confirmed as a speaker is leading low-carbon transport expert Alex Stewart. An associate director of low-carbon strategy consultants Element Energy, Alex is currently leading a Europe-wide study on the current and future costs of ownership of low carbon cars and vans. He will take part in our Air Quality and Emissions panel session, providing some insight into the current powertrain mix in the UK and the prospects for further CO2 reductions over the next 5-15 years. Alex will also be sharing some of the latest analysis of real-world CO2 and NOx emissions.

Taking place at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull, the conference is the annual opportunity for senior executives from across the vehicle rental and leasing sector to come together and explore some of the key issues affecting the industry. This year’s event will also help delegates prepare for 2016 with its usual focus on other key operational and strategic issues.

Earlybird tickets for the BVRLA Industry Conference are available until 3 October, and can be purchased online.
