Since 2019, members have been implementing the requirements of the Senior Manager and Certification Regime for Senior Managers, Certified Staff and other Conduct Staff. With the FCA’s extended deadline for the Conduct Rule Training implementation now passed, it’s more important than ever that firms are meeting their responsibilities under the regime. With this in mind, the BVRLA have put together a comprehensive Development Programme to support members with their ongoing compliance.
Those that are in a compliance role, or who take responsibility for the compliance in the business should attend.
Step 1: Let us support you to find out your business type - gather vital information when preparing for SM&CR
Step 2: Complete specialised e-Learning modules - learn comprehensive background information on the regime
Step 3: Attend a BVRLA remote training session, run by our Compliance Expert – engage with the change
Step 4: Receive support and guidance with an example Statement of Responsibility – put theory into practice
Step 5: Attend a BVRLA Q&A session, run by our Compliance team focusing on how SM&CR has changed the Inspection Programme – gain insight and have your questions answered.
The course supports delegates to..
- Understand the requirements of SM&CR
- Know how to implement these into their business
- Create a Statement of Responsibility
- Gain insight into the BVRLA Inspection Programme, and the changes SM&CR have made to it.
