The Fleet Consultant Development programme is a prestigious training programme designed to align the rental/leasing sales function much more closely with the role, responsibilities and requirements of a typical fleet manager. Understanding the issues and concerns of the person in charge of that coporate fleet is its primary focus.

This four day programme has been specially commissioned from the Institute of Car Fleet Management (ICFM) to enable participants to benefit from this professional body’s expertise. It has also been externally accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).

Delivered in 2 x two-day modules. Module one will cover the principles of fleet management, with a focus on understanding the role and responsibilities of a fleet manager; the principles of asset and risk management; the influence of a client's stake holders (HR, finance), company culture and market segmentation. It will also look at wider concerns influencing fleet choice, including the environment, health and safety.

Module two explores the delivery of fleet solutions. It takes the various budgetary and taxation considerations; key acquisition and disposal options, supplier management; and the relevant legal and health and safety obligations.

The programme costs £1,365 + VAT, which includes four days classroom training, assessment and associate membership of the ICFM for one year. It excludes evening meals, overnight accommodation and breakfast.
