Publications

The BVRLA has developed a wide selection of publications covering all sectors of the leasing and rental industry.

While most of them are written for BVRLA members, some are aimed at their customers, both businesses and consumers.

In the Consumer focused section, you will find publications advising members of the general public on subjects including fair wear and tear for lease and rental vehicles, different types of vehicle funding and the your rights as a BVRLA member's customer.

In our Business focused publications, we give advice on starting up a rental business and other basic information about business operations, asset management and theft and fraud protection.

Our main group of publications, which are Member focused, contain more detailed information about business operations, asset management and theft and fraud protection.

How to order

Publications are VAT free. Our standard postage charge of £6.50 plus VAT is chargeable on all orders. Delivery time is 1-3 working days if received before 4pm. If you require a next day delivery by courier, please contact us.

Member orders

For member orders we can send an invoice for payment, but we must have a purchase order reference.

To place an order for any publication, send an email with your request to memberservices@bvrla.co.uk, including:

• Name of publication
• Quantity to order
• Invoice address
• Delivery address
• Purchase order number/reference
• Membership number

An email confirmation will be sent from the BVRLA when your order has been received.

If you would prefer to pay via Credit/Debit card* please call 01494 545703 to place your order over the phone.

Non-member orders

For all non-member orders we will request payment upfront by Credit/Debit card* or cheque.

To order call us on 01494 545703. Please have your order details ready:

• Name of publication
• Quantity to order
• Delivery address
• Payment card information*

If you need to pay by cheque, post this through to us with your order details and we will process the order when your cheque has cleared.

*Please note we do not accept American Express or Electron cards.
